10 Commandments of Change

Change is the only thing constant in life and it is always changing .

I love life because nothing stays the same forever. So if something isn’t going on right at the moment, remember “it is coming to pass”…away – so cheer up.

With that said, if you so not change, you will be like the tree that refuses to bend in the various directions of the wind – they all break.

Here are the 10 commandment of change:

1. Have A Desire to Change

A desire fulfilled is sweet to the soul. Desire results from Passion and Passion is the Energy of Life. Once you nurture the desire, it becomes so powerful that it consumes you.

2. Stop Making Excuses
It is ironic that even with a desire to change, we sometimes fear the unknown and subconsciously want to remain in the present state. Excuses are the defenses of a failure. Stop making them or are you are failure?

3. Take immediate action
Now that you have nurtured your desire to change and have stopped making excuses for not wanting to change

4. Change Your Perception of Yourself
Begin to see yourself in the image of the change you desire and are working on. What you see within is what you ALWAYS turn out to be.

5. Never Go Back
Change is a journey. Enjoy the journey but decide that the only way is ahead of you. Like a wise man once said “We do not move forward looking backwards”.

6. Be Your Own Motivator

Be the change you seek said Mahatma Gandhi. While you are at it, be your own prophet. Speak your way through any discouragement while you set the image of the change you desire before you and focus on it. The Book of Psalms said ” I have set the Lord continually before me, because he is at my right hand, I will not be moved”

6. Yield to God’s leading
I am not a religious person. Religion is man-made. I have a relationship with God and I listen to His for his voice and leading but I’m not perfect at hearing him yet but I am getting better at it.

If you do not believe in God…er, well too bad because he is REAL.

Anyway then, listen to your intuition. It is an inferior alternative to the REAL DEAL but it’s better than ating based on emotions.

8. Never Stop Dreaming
Remember change is the only thing constant. Keep dreaming of how to change for the better. Be become a change dreamer.

9. Know Your Purpose
“If the purpose of a thing or person is not known, abuse is inevitable” – Dr Myles Munroe.

Every product is a product of purpose. You do not just make something. You make something to do something. And that thing you made it to do is its purpose.

You are here for a reason and you have to fulfill it before your time’s up. Find it. It is within you. Being confident and still is a quick way discover your purpose.
