1. Promote your blog via commenting and article marketing.
2. Never use One-liners. We hate and often delete them.
3. Get your a gravatar and put your human face
4. Link to inner pages when commenting
5. Be the first to comment
6. Avoid A-list blogs when you are new since few top dogs care about your opinion.
7. Comment on smaller but fast growing blogs when you are new since value you opinion
8. Get an Invite to theinfopreneur.org forum
9. Use Akismet to moderate your comments.
10. Always reply back
11. Use of keywords on your comment
12. Visit your commenters’ sites and reciprocate the gesture
13. Activate top commentator plugin to know the guys that show you love the most
14. Reward your top active commenters
15. Use “Subscribe to Comment“ Plugin to key commenters returning
16. Master the art of value commenting or shut up
17. Use CommentLuv Plug in
18. Use KeywordLuv Plug in
19. Select 10 favorite blogs and post comment daily.
20. Spread your comment love on weekends to other blogs

Well thought points mate.
Personally, I feel one liners are ok for some types of post. Lets say that you created a resource post where you complied a list of cool social media icons.
This type of post will often attract large number of comments, but most of them will be short. Often saying “thank you” or “great list”.
What you comment depends a lot on the type of post.

I am getting reluctant to add more plugins to my blog. If I am going to add more then I want to remove some others but I do agree that I appreciate them as a commenter. Those are pretty good lessons.

I’ve got quite a number too and I’ve read that too much plugins actually make your blog slower to load.

Wow! A good point of view about the importance of comment. I also do valuable comments on other blogs to share my knowledge the topic they discussed.

Nice weblog. We obtained good deal of effective info. I following this technology for awhile. It’s interesting how it keeps changing, yet a the actual core components remain the same. Perhaps observed much change since Google made their most recent acquisition in the area?
