While I’m not against using of blogspot – It was my blooging platform for almost 4 years for God’s sake and I still use blogspot for some niche sites – if you are thinking of still blogging 10 years from now, WordPress is it.

hello olusegun,
i too agree every person who want to experience all the benefits of blogging should consider wordpress. It is more flexible, with it’s availability of numerous plugins. it’s platform also allows for easy management. I’m just a new in the bloggosphere and of all, i found more delight in wordpress. It is the chosen platform of the pros like Daren.

Wordpress is the best choice for me and I have been using it for about 2 months and already I feel like a pro. I don’t think any other platform has such an easy learning curve.

You’ve made some great points about Wordpress and I totally agree. I couldn’t imagine having a professional site on any other platform. I started out years ago with TypePad but am glad that for my new site, I chose to go with Wordpress and a premium theme. The combination can’t be beat, in my view.
