A tree and you
Posted by: | CommentsA tree and you
Picture a tree, any tree.
Trees are made up of the roots, a trunk, the branches and the leaves. Sometimes or during certain seasons, we might even have fruits on the tree. Every tree is unique and is conditioned to survive in the various locations where they are.
You
Your tree is huge. It can be anything you want it to be. But most importantly, it is a personification of what you represent.
The Roots
They serve as a source of life for the tree. Once planted, it begins to grow downwards first – the root finds its way down and begins to spread out, draw water and nutrients from the earth and give stability to it.
Making the most of what you have where you are
Posted by: | CommentsLife they say is not a bed of roses. I do not quite agree. I think it is a bed of roses with thorns in it. Once you become too lackadaisical about life, you get pricked by its thorns just to get you back in alignment with the order of things.
We are all gifted people but we all have different gifts based on the our different abilities. Looking at the big picture,I see that we are all pieces of one big puzzle – one that cannot be completed if some of us remain uninvolved in game of Life.
We have to use whatever gift we have been given to make mankind better off, no matter how small or insignificant we think it is.
THE MOST POWERFUL YOU
Posted by: | CommentsAs a you think in your heart so are you. As you continue to think, so you remain. This is the main concept beyond the Law of Attraction. A great guy that I know, Henri Junttila, explains this law in a way you can understand.
The objective of this write up is to stimulate you to know that you are the architect and maker of yourself by the virtue of the thoughts that you choose and encourage.
Your mind is the master weaver, both of the inner garments of character and the outer garment of circumstance.
I’m back – Rising from the Ashes like a Phoenix
Posted by: | CommentsSometime ago in January, I wrote the challenges of a Nigerian Blogger. Little did I know that the resolution I made to be a successful blogger no matter what was soon to be tested?
I had been living in Lagos, Nigeria since May, 2007. I had a little stint doing some currency trading and wondering whether I should get a job to raise some funds or job keep treading the volatile path of forex trading. I finally decided to get a job and began work with a Nigerian Banking Group in August of 2007. I did this for a year and a half – worked 10 hours a day plus an additional 3-4 hours in traffic of the overpopulated city. On the last day of December, 2008, I decided to take the leap of faith and chase a lifelong dream of becoming a full time entrepreneur running a web design and development company with a techie partner. My seed money was split between living expenses – which were extremely modest, transportation, rent, electricity bills, investments and business expenses.
10 Commandments of Change
Posted by: | Comments
Change is the only thing constant in life and it is always changing
.
I love life because nothing stays the same forever. So if something isn’t going on right at the moment, remember “it is coming to pass”…away – so cheer up.
With that said, if you so not change, you will be like the tree that refuses to bend in the various directions of the wind – they all break.
Here are the 10 commandment of change:
1. Have A Desire to Change
A desire fulfilled is sweet to the soul. Desire results from Passion and Passion is the Energy of Life. Once you nurture the desire, it becomes so powerful that it consumes you.
Blogging Lessons from Hip Hop Artistes
Posted by: | CommentsI like hiphop. I think it’s cool and the rappers are lyrical geniuses but that is not what this all about. Rather it is all about something these guys do that can be applied to your life and of course your blogging experience.
Most hip-hop artistes have different styles of doing their thing and if you listen hard enough, it gets to a point when you can distinguish them from another or identify who’s song you are listening to before you hear a second word.
Lesson 1: BE DISTINCT
Bloggers should be unique just has we all have different finger prints.
If someone looks at your blog or reads your posts at different times and thinks “Hmm, I have read something like that on xxx’s blog before” then I think we know who the copycat blogger is.
16 Steps To Becoming More Effective

1. Figure out what’s most important to you and let go of the rest if you cannot outsource them.
Use the Pareto principle. For instance, out of the ten things that you are to do, which top two will give 80% of the results? We shouldn’t take on everything that comes on our way.
2. Focus on the top 20% you have chosen earlier and they shouldn’t be more than 4.
3. Life is a school. Experience is the teacher. Know that you will goof along the line so be ready to forgive yourself after you do.
4. Learn progressive consistency using daily tasks. It is easier that way. Jump back on track at the next opportunity if you err somewhere.
How To Draw More Regular Readers To Your Blog Using LOA
Posted by: | CommentsThe explosive growth of the book and movie “The Secret” has exposed many people to a law called The Law of Attraction. You may wonder, “What exactly is The Law of Attraction, and how it can it help me increase my internet business earnings?”
THE LAW OF ATTRACTION: A DEFINITION
According to Matthew 9:29 says, “It is done unto you as you believe.” Abraham through Esther Hicks: “The Law of Attraction says: That which is like unto itself is drawn.” In other words, like attracts like. This is not a new concept, nor a secret. For example, Quantum Physicists have discovered that everything in our Universe sends out vibrations of a certain frequency. In essence, you and I are vibrating beings in a vibrating planet.
Milli Vanilli and Internet Earners
Posted by: | CommentsThe Worst Marketing Advice Ever to any Internet Earner: “Fake It Till You Make It!”
I’m sure you have heard that said before… In fact, one of the personal development Gurus that featured in the movie, “The Secret” – a guy that I respect so much – said that was what he did at a point in his life! (This was on stage at a seminar and the video’s on Youtube. Of course I won’t mention his nameJ). In fact in a John Reese report I read recently, he said he had seen more than one marketer (including one giving advice on a forum) saying to people to just “fake it” if they don’t yet possess the credibility or experience in the niche they want to sell to.
Needs-Research for the Internet Earner
Posted by: | CommentsCOMMUNING WITH THE ENVIRONMENT
In the process of communing with the environment, the internet earner’s inner person senses the need of mankind by listening for them whether they are unexpressed, suppressed or voiced out in frustration. It finds out ways of enhancing human lives by proffering solutions to problems through inventions and innovations.
Once an idea is conceived, you convert it into the mental work of building online earning systems that are effective and later translated into physical work. The pressing needs of people do not need business plans before they can be met.
The saying “Brain over Brawn; Mind over Muscle” is a truth.
