The dot com bubble burst in the fall of 2001. And you dear reader belong to one of these three categories – those who witnessed it, the victims of it or those who heard about it.
I was in my fourth year in the university in Nigeria then and was trying to catch by browsing on extra slow and expensive internet or by buying Fortune magazine a month after their release as my vendor could not get them earlier. During those times, fortunes that had been made overnight were lost overnight!
Twitter Lessons
I signed up for a Twitter account in April, 2009 and did not use it because it never really appealed to me.
In May, I started using it actively and gradually developed more interest. I now believe Twitter can be adopted for all types of lifestyles, busy or inactive. All you have to do is just integrate it within your normal workflow. It’s addictive but once you understand how to use it, it is an effective tool indeed.
